Mahindra has officially entered a new phase of its electric journey with the launch of the XUV 3XO EV, an all-electric version of its popular compact SUV, priced from Rs. 13.89 lakh (ex-showroom), making it one of the more accessible electric SUVs in its segment while still offering a strong mix of performance, features and everyday usability, and the brand has confirmed that the electric SUV will be available in two well-equipped variants, AX5 and AX7L, with customer deliveries scheduled to begin from February 23, 2026, giving buyers a clear timeline to plan their purchase, while the top-end AX7L variant is priced Rs. 97,000 higher than the base AX5 trim, mainly due to the addition of extra comfort, safety and technology features, and Mahindra has carefully structured the lineup to cater to both value-focused buyers and those looking for a more premium electric driving experience, without drastically widening the price gap between the two variants.
In terms of appearance and colour choices, the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV offers buyers six different paint options to choose from, including Stealth Black, Galaxy Grey, Everest White, Tango Red, Nebula Blue and Deep Forest, allowing customers to pick a shade that suits their personal style, while under the skin, the electric SUV is powered by a 39.4 kWh battery pack that is claimed to deliver a real-world driving range of up to 285 km on a single charge, making it suitable for daily city use as well as short highway trips, and the electric motor produces 147.5 hp along with a strong 310 Nm of torque, which results in quick acceleration and smooth power delivery, enabling the XUV 3XO EV to sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.3 seconds, a figure that highlights its sporty character despite being a practical family vehicle, and to make the driving experience more engaging, Mahindra has provided three different driving modes named Fun, Fast and Fearless, each designed to adjust throttle response and performance to match different driving moods and road conditions.
