Where did Citroen suffer?
The products introduced by the company are not bad and provides very good features against the competition in few things. The main problem was with providing a product that is having features that are already being provided manufactures in India. Similar to Citroen, Once Kia was a brand that was new to India, but due the the experience of its sister company Hyundai, the makers knew what to give and how differently should the things have to be provided. For example the Citroen Basalt is a car that has many good and clever features at a good price. But the consumers mostly go towards the brands that have stayed in the market for a long time and give the things that an average Indian consumer needs.
Conclusion:
There are many cars already in the market. For example the recently launched Maruti Victoris will definitely give a tough competition to the Aircross X. The only thing now left for the company is luck as since its debut in India it has faced a lot. The car is actually a good package altogether and provide good value if the consumer considers buying one.
