Model wise sales from Mahindra:

Mahindra’s December 2025 sales figures show a strong overall performance, with the brand recording a total of 50,946 units, marking a healthy 23 percent growth compared to 41,424 units sold in December 2024. The Scorpio continues to be one of the company’s biggest strengths, selling 15,885 units, up from 12,195 last year, showing a solid 30 percent year-on-year increase. The Bolero surprised everyone with a massive jump, rising from 5,921 units to 10,611 units, which is an impressive 79 percent growth. This proves that the Bolero still holds strong appeal, especially in rural and semi-urban markets. The XUV 3XO also performed well, climbing from 7,000 units to 9,422 units, reflecting a 35 percent increase, while the Thar remained popular with lifestyle buyers, growing from 7,659 units to 9,339 units, a rise of 22 percent. These numbers show that Mahindra’s core SUVs continue to enjoy strong demand across different types of customers, from city users to off-road lovers.
Another major highlight from the December 2025 data is the entry of new models that were not present in December 2024. The XEV 9e recorded sales of 2,154 units, BE 6 sold 1,481 units, and the XUV 7XO added 971 units to the company’s total. While these models do not have last year’s numbers for comparison, their presence itself adds meaningful volume to Mahindra’s overall sales. These new launches seem to be gaining attention, helping the brand expand its portfolio and attract new buyers. On the other hand, not all models had a positive run. The XUV700, which was once a major hit, saw a huge drop from 7,337 units in December 2024 to just 453 units in December 2025, marking a steep decline of 94 percent. Similarly, the XUV400 fell sharply from 1,296 units to only 59 units, a drop of 95 percent. These declines could be due to factors like supply changes, upcoming updates, or customers shifting towards newer models. Interestingly, the Marazzo showed a big jump in percentage terms, rising from 16 units to 80 units, which is a 400 percent increase, though its overall volume remains quite low.

When all models are considered together, Mahindra’s performance in December 2025 reflects a brand that is growing steadily, even though some individual models are facing challenges. The strong numbers of Scorpio, Bolero, Thar, and XUV 3XO prove that Mahindra still understands what Indian buyers want, especially in the SUV segment. The addition of new models like the XEV 9e, BE 6, and XUV 7XO also shows that the company is trying to move forward with fresh options and modern designs. At the same time, the sharp fall in models like the XUV700 and XUV400 may indicate changing customer preferences or the need for product updates. Overall, the 23 percent growth in total sales suggests that Mahindra is on a positive track, supported by a mix of reliable bestsellers and new launches. If the brand continues to focus on improving its popular models while refreshing or repositioning slower sellers, it can maintain this upward momentum in the coming months. This balanced mix of stability and experimentation seems to be working well for Mahindra as it adapts to a fast-changing Indian car market.
Mahindra’s current India lineup includes the Scorpio, Bolero, XUV 3XO, Thar, XEV 9e, BE 6, XUV 7XO, XUV700, XUV400, and Marazzo, offering a mix of rugged SUVs, lifestyle vehicles, electric options, and versatile family models to suit diverse customer needs.
