Royal Enfield January 2026 Sales:

In January 2026, Royal Enfield delivered another steady performance in the domestic market, reinforcing its stronghold in the mid-capacity motorcycle segment. The brand recorded total sales of 93,781 units, marking a healthy 15.7 per cent year-on-year growth compared to 81,052 units in January 2025. Despite this volume expansion, its overall market share marginally declined to 4.87 per cent from 5.31 per cent a year earlier, reflecting the intensifying competition in the broader two-wheeler industry. Nevertheless, Royal Enfield retained its sixth position in the overall two-wheeler manufacturers’ sales rankings, underlining the consistency of its appeal in a rapidly evolving marketplace. The numbers once again confirmed that the company’s backbone continues to be its trusted 350 cc portfolio, which accounted for the lion’s share of total volumes.
At the forefront of this success story was the ever-popular Royal Enfield Classic 350, which remained the brand’s highest-selling model. With 34,981 units dispatched in January 2026, it registered a 14 per cent increase over the 30,582 units sold during the same month last year. On a month-on-month basis, however, sales remained nearly flat compared to December 2025’s tally of 34,958 units, indicating stable demand. Following closely was the Royal Enfield Bullet 350, which posted 22,345 units and recorded a strong 17 per cent year-on-year rise from 19,163 units. Yet, despite the healthy annual growth, it experienced a 10 per cent dip compared to December’s 24,849 units. The youthful and urban-focused Royal Enfield Hunter 350 secured third place with 20,329 units, reflecting an impressive 28 per cent YoY growth from 15,914 units. Month-on-month, it witnessed only a marginal 2 per cent softening from December’s 20,654 units, suggesting sustained popularity among younger riders.

The cruiser and higher-capacity segments offered a mixed performance. The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 contributed 9,921 units in January 2026, up 18 per cent from 8,373 units last year, though slightly lower than December’s 10,097 units. In the twin-cylinder category, the Royal Enfield 650 Twins range registered 2,666 units, reflecting a 15 per cent decline from 3,130 units in January 2025. The adventure-focused Royal Enfield Himalayan recorded 1,634 units, down 40 per cent year-on-year, yet it rebounded strongly on a month-on-month basis with a sharp 67 per cent increase. One of the standout performers was the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, which clocked 961 units — a remarkable 175 per cent surge over 349 units last year — and also grew 136 per cent over December 2025. The premium Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 posted 893 units, marking a 19 per cent YoY rise. At the lower end, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 recorded 51 units, reflecting a 34 per cent annual decline. Overall, the January performance illustrates a brand that continues to lean on its heritage-rich 350 cc motorcycles while gradually nurturing newer and more specialized offerings to broaden its appeal.
