Tata Harrier and Safari Petrol:

Tata Motors has recently announced the prices for the petrol versions of the new Harrier and Safari, introducing a fresh 1.5-litre turbo GDi engine to both SUVs. This move comes at a time when the brand is celebrating a major milestone, having sold a combined total of 2.5 lakh units of these two popular models. By adding petrol options, Tata is aiming to make the Harrier and Safari more appealing to a wider range of buyers who prefer petrol engines over diesel. The Tata Harrier Petrol is now available at a starting price of Rs. 12.89 lakh, while the Tata Safari Petrol begins at Rs. 13.29 lakh, both prices being ex-showroom in New Delhi. These new variants strengthen the overall lineup and give customers more flexibility when choosing their preferred model. Tata has also focused on offering a more refined driving experience, making these SUVs suitable for everyday city use as well as long highway journeys. The company highlights that these petrol versions have been developed with better cabin comfort, reduced noise levels, and improved smoothness, which should make them more enjoyable for families and long-distance travelers alike.

Along with the new petrol engine, Tata has introduced several premium features in both the Harrier and Safari to enhance the overall driving and ownership experience. One of the standout additions is the large 36.9 cm infotainment display that uses Samsung Neo QLED technology, offering sharper visuals and better clarity. The sound system now comes with Dolby Atmos, promising a richer and more immersive audio experience for passengers. Both SUVs are also equipped with the Vision-X E-IRVM, which includes a built-in dual dash cam and DVR for added safety and convenience. Another useful feature is the VisionSync memory ORVMs that automatically adjust and offer a reverse dip function, making parking easier. The ClearView dual camera washer further improves visibility during bad weather or dusty conditions. Powering these SUVs is the new 1.5L Hyperion turbocharged four-cylinder GDi petrol engine, which produces 170 PS of power at 5,000 rpm and 280 Nm of torque between 1,750 and 3,500 rpm. Tata claims that this engine offers the best fuel efficiency in its segment, while also delivering strong performance. It has been specially tuned for smooth city driving, confident highway cruising, and lower vibration levels, ensuring a quieter and more comfortable cabin.
