Tata Curvv EV discount October 2026

The Tata Curvv EV discount October 2026 is up to ₹3.35 lakh according to two festive trackers, Autopunditz and MyCarHelpline. That is the same figure Tata has been carrying since July, which tells its own story.
It also comes with a big catch: the full amount applies only to the Curvv EV built before the SeriesX update. The newer version gets far less. Below is what the numbers mean against the Harrier EV and Nexon EV, and why a stale discount is not always a good sign.
The numbers, model by model
Autocar India gives the cleanest September breakdown, and the October trackers show the same headline figures. For the Curvv EV, priced at ₹17.19-19.39 lakh, pre-SeriesX variants get up to ₹3.35 lakh: ₹3 lakh cash plus up to ₹35,000 exchange or scrappage.
SeriesX variants get up to ₹65,000: ₹35,000 exchange or scrappage plus a ₹30,000 loyalty bonus. The Harrier EV, at ₹21.79-29.79 lakh, gets up to ₹2.75 lakh on its Fearless and Empowered trims, and ₹2.5 lakh on Adventure. The Nexon EV, at ₹12.49-17.69 lakh, gets up to ₹45,000.
Autocar also lists up to ₹1.45 lakh on pre-facelift Tiago EV and Punch EV stock, and nothing on the facelifted Punch EV.
Keep one caveat in mind. All of these are maximums for specific variants, and Autocar notes that benefits vary by location and dealer availability. Your own quote may be lower, and it is worth comparing two or three showrooms before you commit.
Percentages tell the real story
The ₹3.35 lakh on the Curvv EV equals about 17 percent of its top price of ₹19.39 lakh and about 19.5 percent of its starting price of ₹17.19 lakh. These are rough figures, since the discount applies to certain variants, not all.
The Harrier EV’s ₹2.75 lakh is about 12.6 percent of its starting price and 9.2 percent of its top price. The Nexon EV’s ₹45,000 is only about 3.6 percent of its starting price.
Those gaps are huge. The newest and most in-demand model gets the least, and the model being phased out gets the most. That is not generosity. That is inventory management.
We covered this pattern when Tata cut EV prices in the middle of record sales, in our piece on the Tata EV discount in June 2026. The logic is unchanged.
Why a three-month-old discount is a signal
BusinessToday reported the same ₹3.35 lakh Curvv EV ceiling and ₹2.75 lakh Harrier EV ceiling in July 2026. Autocar had the same in September, and October trackers still list them.
A discount that does not move for three months means one of two things. Either the stock is still there because demand for the old Curvv EV is weak, or Tata is deliberately holding the number steady to keep the pipeline clear while newer variants sell at near full price.
Either way, you hold the power. A dealer holding unsold pre-SeriesX cars cannot afford to let a festive buyer walk. Ask for the ₹3 lakh cash in full, then ask for more on insurance, accessories or the charger.
Compare it with our look at Tata Motors September 2026 discounts, where the petrol and diesel range got much smaller numbers. The EV range is where Tata is spending its money.
There is a useful negotiating angle in the structure of the offer. The Curvv EV’s ₹3 lakh is cash, which is available even if you have no car to trade in. The Harrier EV’s ₹2.75 lakh, by contrast, has no direct cash discount at all according to BusinessToday; it is built from intervention support, loyalty and exchange. So for a no-trade-in buyer, the old Curvv EV is the stronger deal despite the smaller headline on paper.
What you give up with the older car
The SeriesX update brought changes we cannot detail without a verified source, so we will not guess at features. What we can say is that the newer variants are priced the same range, carry smaller discounts, and will hold resale better because they are the current version.
The old stock is a perfectly good car. It is just a car that Tata is paying you to take. Ask the dealer what exactly differs between the two versions in writing, and check the warranty start date, since a car built months ago may have been sitting in the yard.
Also ask about battery pack and charger terms for your specific car. The discount is meaningless if the charger installation is a separate cost you did not budget.
Think also about running costs. An EV buyer saves most of the fuel bill, so a bigger discount on the purchase price shortens the payback period. If you drive heavily in a city with good charging access, the old stock at a steep discount can pay for itself faster than almost any alternative. If your charging access is poor, no discount will make the car convenient.
Should you buy now
Buy the pre-SeriesX Curvv EV if you want an electric SUV in the ₹14-16 lakh effective range and plan to keep it for years. At ₹3.35 lakh off, the net price looks very sharp next to rivals, and our guide to the best electric cars under ₹15 lakh shows how tight that segment is.
Skip it if you resell early or want the latest version. The Nexon EV at up to ₹45,000 off is the safer choice for the second group, though it costs less to begin with.
Final Verdict
The Tata Curvv EV discount October 2026 is a ₹3.35 lakh headline that applies to pre-SeriesX stock only, with the newer version carrying up to ₹65,000. Against the Harrier EV’s roughly 9-13 percent and the Nexon EV’s 3.6 percent, the old Curvv EV is where Tata is pushing hardest.
Our call: take it if you keep cars for years and the dealer can show a recent build date. The figure has sat unchanged since July, which gives you room to bargain. All numbers come from trackers and Autocar, not a Tata notice, and dealer-level offers vary by city, variant and stock, so verify in writing.
