Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX Edge Launched at ₹9.39 Lakh: Sunroof Under ₹10 Lakh

Mahindra has expanded the XUV 3XO’s REVX line-up with a new REVX Edge trim, priced from ₹9.39 lakh, ex-showroom, timed to land just ahead of the festive season. The launch does two things at once: it pushes features like a panoramic sunroof below ₹10 lakh for the first time in this range, and it marks a genuine sales milestone for one of Mahindra’s most important recent products.

REVX Edge Price List Explained

The REVX Edge sits between the existing REVX M(O) and the higher REVX A trims, and comes in four price points depending on engine and transmission. The base REVX Edge petrol manual starts at ₹9.39 lakh, with the petrol automatic and diesel manual both priced at ₹10.59 lakh. Step up to the REVX Edge (O), and pricing runs from ₹9.89 lakh for the petrol manual to ₹11.91 lakh for the diesel AMT, the top of the new trim’s range. Separately, Mahindra has also added a petrol automatic option to the existing REVX M(O) trim, priced at ₹9.99 lakh, giving buyers one more way to get an automatic gearbox just under the ₹10 lakh mark.

A Panoramic Sunroof Under ₹10 Lakh, Finally

The standout addition is the panoramic sunroof, now available on the REVX Edge (O) at ₹9.89 lakh, a genuine first for a sub-₹10 lakh variant in the XUV 3XO line-up. Alongside it, that trim adds roof rails, electrically foldable outside mirrors, passive keyless entry, push-button start, and automatic headlamps and wipers. The base REVX Edge, even without the sunroof, isn’t a stripped-down offering either: it comes with a 26.03cm HD touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and wired Apple CarPlay, cruise control, leatherette seats and a rear-view camera, features that were previously reserved for higher trims in the lineup.

Engine and Gearbox Choices

Powertrain choice comes down to two options. The 1.2-litre mStallion turbocharged petrol is available with either manual or automatic transmission, giving buyers flexibility without stepping up to a higher trim. The 1.5-litre turbo-diesel with CRDe technology pairs with a manual or an automated manual transmission (AMT), useful for buyers who want diesel’s efficiency without a fully manual gearbox. Both engines carry across the REVX Edge and REVX Edge (O) trims, so the sunroof and convenience-feature decision is independent of which engine and gearbox combination you pick.

The 2.5 Lakh Sales Milestone Behind This Launch

This launch isn’t happening in isolation. Mahindra confirmed the XUV 3XO has crossed 2.5 lakh sales in under 2.5 years, making it the fastest SUV in the company’s history to hit that mark. Introducing a mid-tier trim that democratises previously higher-tier features, most notably the sunroof, reads as a clear attempt to keep that momentum going into the festive quarter rather than let a proven bestseller plateau. For buyers who wanted the XUV 3XO’s premium touches without stretching into the pricier AX trims, the REVX Edge closes that gap meaningfully.
